Carina has worked with consultants and neurological physiotherapists to create a programme of Creative Movement Therapy (CMT) for patients with neurological conditions, specifically Parkinson’s disease. CMT is a highly effective holistic treatment. In connecting mind and body it can lead to both improved cognitive ability and increased functional range. Carina offers private, one to one sessions, tailored to each patient's varying needs and conditions. The use of music enhances fluidity of movement whilst providing an enjoyable and fun element to therapy.
DANCE COACH & TEACHER
Carina has taught for professional companies, vocational dance schools and young students. She teaches a variety of classes including Classical Ballet, Cunningham Technique, Contemporary Ballet and Commercial as well as her own unique style of contemporary/improvisation classes.
