About
Carina is a friendly, open and extremely motivated individual with a passion for Movement Direction and Performance.
As a Movement Director, Carina places her focus on facilitating the artists to move in a natural, free and uninhibited way whilst ensuring the detail, nuance and subtlety of the work is captured.
As a Dance Artist, Carina is an expansive, grounded and instinctive mover with a joy for performing. She enjoys working both creatively and collaboratively in the studio as well as under specific direction. Carina is a technical dancer and loves combining this with her natural wildness.
Carina graduated from Rambert School in 2017 with a 1st Class BA (Hons) degree and continued her training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance achieving a Distinction in her Master’s. For the past 8 years Carina has been a company dancer with Mark Bruce Company, performing in national tours and music videos. She has also worked as a Dance Artist or Movement Director for Phoenix Dance Theatre, Netflix, Warner Bros, Gemma Payne, BBC, Yorke Dance Project, Alexandra Reynolds and Christopher Bruce.
Carina is based in and around London and is happy to travel for work.
